Website Backups

Keeping your website backed up will ensure you don’t lose everything should you have a major issue. WPDesigns will send you a copy of the site along with your delivery document on completion of the project, but anything past that is up to you.  WPD Backup will be installed and will allow you to take manual backups. This can be configured to take automatic backups stored on the cloud rather than on your hosting.

Having a backup of your website is a key factor in keeping your website safe; having your website do this automatically is even better.  The automatic backups of your website can be configured to run every day, every week, or every month.  You can also have as many backups as you like, ensuring that you never forget to make one and always have something saved in case the worst happens.

For cloud backups, temporary access will need a Google Account and allow temporary access to be granted.

Manual Backups – Free

Automatic Local Backups – $50

WPDesigns will set up backup software for your website, but you can have your website backup automatically if you like on a regular schedule on your local hosting.

Cloud-Based Automatic Backups – $75

Having your website backed up to the cloud adds another layer of protection. Should something happen to the website hosting or server, you will have the website files saved in another location, allowing you to restore the site from the most recent copy easily.

Both Local & Cloud-Based Backups – $100

Having your backups located both locally and on the cloud offers you the best of both worlds, and having the backup files in multiple locations is a highly recommended practice.
