WordPress is a great open-source platform that has its code checked and verified by thousands of people involved with the project; this helps to minimize issues and ensure potential exploits are picked up before they can be hacked.  The general entry point for a hacker or a bot is typically a password that is too short, too easy, memorable, or perhaps has been breached and is reused from another account.

Our security upgrade will block hackers and bots after a defined number of failed attempts; we will close entry points that can potentially be explored for weakness and add two-factor authentication by authenticator app or email.
